“Hi, I’m Miss Tiffany!”

As a lifelong Berks County resident, I’m proud to serve the community that has shaped both my personal and professional journey. For more than 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping children and families build communication skills, confidence, and meaningful connections in preschool and elementary school settings throughout our community.

I’ve worked with children with a wide range of communication needs, including articulation, language, fluency, social communication, and early literacy skills. Throughout my career, I’ve partnered closely with families, teachers, and support teams because I believe the best progress happens when we work together.

Why “Sway & Say”?

I’ve always loved the way palm trees move. They don’t fight the wind, they learn to sway with it. Over the years, that simple idea has become the heart of my approach. Every child is unique and I believe the best progress happens when we meet children where they are with patience, flexibility, encouragement, and plenty of fun.

Areas of Support

Articulation Skills

Helpingchildren learn to say speech sounds more clearly so others can understand them with confidence. Therapy may focus on:  correctly producing speech sounds such as/ p, b, t, d, k, g, f, v, s, z, sh, ch, j, l, r, and th/.

Phonological Speech Sound Skills

Helping children use speech sounds and sound patterns correctly within words. This includes support for difficulties such as fronting, backing, stopping, and other speech sound patterns that may affect speech clarity and intelligibility.

Receptive Language

Supporting children who have difficulty following directions, answering questions, learning new vocabulary, and understanding conversations or stories.

Expressive Language

Helping children express their thoughts, ideas, needs, and feelings through words, sentences, and conversation.

Language Processing Skills

Helping children understand, interpret, and use spoken language effectively. This includes support for following directions, understanding questions, learning new vocabulary, and organizing thoughts to communicate clearly.

Fluency (Stuttering)

Supporting children who may repeat sounds or words, stretch sounds, or get ‘stuck’ while speaking. Therapy focuses on building confidence and comfortable communication.

Social Communication

Helping children develop conversation skills, understand social cues, build friendships, and successfully navigate social situations.

Why Families Choose Sway & Say

Every Child Has Their Own Path. No two children learn the same way, so every session is personalized to meet your child where they are.

Flexible, Child-Led Therapy. Just like the palm trees that inspired Sway & Say, I believe the best progress happens when we adapt to each child’s unique needs instead of expecting every child to learn the same way.

Helping Parents Feel Confident, Too

Children make the greatest progress when families are part of the journey. I’ll partner with you every step of the way by providing practical strategies, encouragement, and ongoing support that extends beyond our therapy sessions. My goal isn’t just to help your child during our sessions, it’s to give you the confidence to support communication every day.

Questions Parents Often Ask

Have questions? You’re not alone. Here are answers to some of the questions families ask before getting started. If you don’t see yours, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to help.

No. Your child does not need an IEP or school-based speech services to participate in sessions at Sway and Say Speech Studio.

Many families seek additional support for communication skills, confidence building, school readiness, or mild speech and language needs even if their child does not qualify for school based services. Some families also choose support sessions to complement services their child may already be receiving at school.

Every child’s communication journey looks different, and sessions are designed to provide individualized, supportive, and engaging guidance based on your child’s unique strengths and needs.

Yes! If you have concerns about your child’s speech, language, communication, or school readiness skills, I would be happy to discuss your concerns and help determine whether additional support may be beneficial.

If more comprehensive testing or clinical speech therapy services are recommended, I can also help guide families toward appropriate next steps and resources.

Through observation, play-based interaction, parent discussion, and informal screening activities, I can help identify areas of strength and areas where your child may benefit from additional support or monitoring.

Sessions are held in my home based setting in Sinking Spring, providing a comfortable, welcoming environment where children can feel relaxed, supported, and confident while building communication skills.

Depending on availability and with the appropriate preschool or childcare approval, I may also explore providing support sessions within your child’s preschool setting to help encourage comfort, carryover, and communication growth within their natural learning environment.

Daytime and after school appointments are available.

Each session includes approximately 30–45 minutes of direct, play-based support for your child, along with time dedicated to:

• Parent communication and guidance
• Modeling and home practice strategies
• Progress monitoring
• Planning and preparation for your child’s next session

Scheduling is simple! Once payment is received, you’ll receive a link to my online scheduling system where you can view available times and request a session that works best for your schedule. Once your time is confirmed, you’ll receive all the details needed to get started.

Parent involvement is encouraged! Depending on your child’s needs, parents may observe, participate, or connect at the end of the session for updates and practical strategies to support communication skills at home.

To best serve all families, 24 hours’ notice is required for any cancellations or changes. One late cancellation or reschedule will be waived as a courtesy, because life happens!
